First launch on macOS

reconYa is not notarized by Apple yet, so macOS blocks it the first time you open it. This happens once per downloaded version:

1. Open the DMG and drag reconYa to Applications.
2. Open reconYa from Applications. macOS says it cannot verify the app; click Done.
3. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about reconYa, and click Open Anyway. Confirm with your password.
4. When reconYa asks for Local Network access, allow it. Without it, scans find nothing.

Prefer the terminal? This does the same as step 3:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/reconYa.app

Check a download against its SHA-256 below with shasum -a 256 reconYa-*.dmg.

All versions

Your licence covers every version released within a year of purchase, and those versions keep working forever. If a newer one asks for a renewal, either renew or install the newest version dated inside your year.
